Beyond the Bridge: From the BCHS stage to the conductor's podium!

Posted Date: 04/08/26 (08:27 AM)

Today, we are proud to spotlight Madison Juneau from the Class of 2020.
Madison didn’t just graduate; she soared! She earned two Bachelor’s degrees in Music Education and Voice Performance from the University of North Texas while performing in several opera roles. Now, she’s sharing her passion as the Head Choir Director at Marshall Middle School.
Being a first-year teacher is a whirlwind, but Madison has already hit a high note! She recently led her students to excellent ratings on stage and Superior ratings in Sight Reading at UIL Concert & Sight Reading—an incredible accomplishment for a debut director!
Madison’s love for the arts was cultivated right here in Bridge City through the Cardinal Singers, Strutters, and Cardinal Theatre. She carries the spirit of BCHS with her every day in the classroom.
Madison’s advice for current Cardinals: Take in EVERY. SINGLE. MOMENT. You’re going to miss these days one day! "Today is the only day you will live today." -Cathy Riley
Join us in applauding Madison on a phenomenal first year of teaching!
